Top One Futures is one of the younger futures prop firms and one of the few offering instant funding alongside traditional 1-step challenges. Most of the product lineup is underwhelming, but the Elite Daily stands out. It’s the only challenge type where the consistency rule applies during the evaluation and then drops off entirely once you’re funded, and it’s the only 1-step challenge with no activation fee. The catch comes once you’re funded: a scaling plan kicks in that restricts your contract limit until you’ve built up enough profit, which can feel restrictive early on. Also, in Elite Daily, the profit target to max loss ratio is reasonable, but the daily loss limit is tight, and the maximum number of tradeable contracts is lower than at comparable firms like TradeDay. All other challenges have even harder rules, with Elite Challenge you face a 25% consistency in funded accounts, Elite Access has an activation fee, and both instand funded accounts have also tight consistency rules of 15%-20%.

Rules

Drawdown / Max Loss

Drawdown Type by Account Program

Top One Futures uses end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown across most account types, with one notable exception on the S2F Sim PRO program which uses an intraday trailing model.

Elite Challenge and Elite Sim Funded (EOD Trailing)

The max trailing drawdown adjusts upward based on the highest closed balance at the end of each trading day. It never moves down. The drawdown amounts by account size are:

  • $25,000 account: $1,000 trailing drawdown (initial floor: $24,000)
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 trailing drawdown (initial floor: $48,000)
  • $100,000 account: $3,000 trailing drawdown (initial floor: $97,000)
  • $150,000 account: $4,500 trailing drawdown (initial floor: $145,500)

The daily loss limit for Elite accounts is 2.5% of the account balance, calculated from the previous day’s closing balance.

  • $25,000 account: $625
  • $50,000 account: $1,250
  • $100,000 account: $2,500
  • $150,000 account: $3,750

Instant Sim Funded (EOD Trailing)

Trailing drawdown amounts:

  • $25,000 account: $1,000
  • $50,000 account: $2,000
  • $100,000 account: $3,000
  • $150,000 account: $4,500

The daily loss limit is 2.5%:

  • $25,000 account: $625
  • $50,000 account: $1,250
  • $100,000 account: $2,500
  • $150,000 account: $3,750

S2F Sim PRO (Intraday Trailing, TIDD)

The trailing drawdown on S2F Sim PRO accounts tracks the highest intraday equity including open unrealized P&L, updated tick by tick in real time. Standard TIDD is 3%. Daily loss limit is 2%.

The TIDD does not reset at the end of the trading day. It is always calculated from the highest realized or unrealized P&L ever achieved.

Ignite (EOD Trailing)

  • $25,000 account: Daily loss limit $500 (2%), Max loss limit 4%
  • $50,000 account: Daily loss limit $1,000 (2%), Max loss limit 4%
  • $100,000 account: Daily loss limit $2,000 (2%), Max loss limit 3%
  • $150,000 account: Daily loss limit $3,000 (2%), Max loss limit 3%

Elite Daily (EOD Trailing)

Evaluation phase max trailing drawdown:

  • $25,000 account: $1,000 (4%)
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 (4%)
  • $100,000 account: $3,000 (3%)

Funded phase: Daily loss limit applies only once funded.

  • $25,000 account: $500 (2%)
  • $50,000 account: $1,000 (2%)
  • $100,000 account: $1,250 (1.25%)

Funded phase max trailing drawdown:

  • $25,000 account: $1,000 (4%)
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 (4%)
  • $100,000 account: $2,500 (2.5%)

Elite ACCESS (EOD Trailing)

Evaluation phase: No daily loss limit. Only EOD trailing drawdown applies.

  • $25,000 account: $1,000 (4%)
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 (4%)
  • $100,000 account: $3,000 (3%)
  • $150,000 account: $4,000 (~2.67%)

Funded phase daily loss limit:

  • $25,000 account: $500 (2%)
  • $50,000 account: $1,000 (2%)
  • $100,000 account: $1,250 (1.25%)
  • $150,000 account: $1,750 (~1.17%)

Funded phase max trailing drawdown:

  • $25,000 account: $1,000 (4%)
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 (4%)
  • $100,000 account: $3,000 (3%)
  • $150,000 account: $3,500 (~2.33%)

Daily Loss Limit Calculation

The daily loss limit is calculated from the previous day’s closing balance. If your closing balance was $26,000 on a $25,000 account with a $625 daily limit, your breach level the next day is $25,375. If equity drops to that level at any point intraday, all positions are automatically liquidated.

Breaching the daily loss limit is a soft breach only. Trading is paused for the remainder of the day. You can resume the next session provided the max trailing drawdown has not also been violated.

Drawdown Lock

Across Elite and Instant Sim Funded accounts, the trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance plus $100 once profits reach the drawdown amount plus $100. It also locks upon the trader’s first payout regardless of profit level.

Lock levels by account size (Elite and Instant):

Account BalanceDrawdown AmountBalance to LockDrawdown Locks At
$25k$1,000$26,100$25,100
$50k$2,000$52,100$50,100
$100k$3,000$103,100$100,100
$150k$4,500$154,600$150,100

For S2F Sim PRO accounts, the TIDD only locks after the first payout is approved, at the starting balance plus $100. It does not lock based on profit thresholds before payout.

Consequence of Breaching the Max Trailing Drawdown

On Elite Challenge accounts: account is paused until the anniversary billing date. The trader may purchase a reset to resume immediately.

On all sim funded account types (Elite Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, Ignite, Elite Daily Funded, Elite ACCESS Funded): account is permanently closed.

Live Funded Account Drawdown

The max loss limit on live accounts is set at 60% of the account size. This is a static (non-trailing) drawdown. The daily loss limit is set at the firm’s discretion based on trader and firm best interests.

Consistency Rule

Elite Challenge (Evaluation)

No consistency rule. Traders may reach the 6% profit target in any number of trading days and with any profit distribution across sessions.

Elite Sim Funded

A 25% consistency rule applies. No single trading day’s profit may account for more than 25% of total profits at the time of a payout request. The rule is calculated from the first day of trading until each payout. After each payout, the consistency score resets.

Formula: (Best day profit / Total profit) x 100 = consistency score. Must be 25% or lower.

If the best day exceeds 25% of total profits, the trader must continue trading to grow total profits until the ratio comes back within limit.

A trading day ends at 5:00 PM EST for consistency rule calculation purposes.

Instant Sim Funded

A 20% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 20% of total profits. Resets after each payout.

A trading day ends at 5:00 PM EST for consistency rule calculation purposes.

S2F Sim PRO

Uses an Equity Stability Score (ESS) of 20% or lower instead of a standard consistency rule.

ESS formula: (Best day profit + Worst day loss as a positive number) / Total profit x 100

ESS must be 20% or lower at the time of a payout request. Resets after each payout.

Ignite

A 15% consistency rule applies. No single trading day may account for more than 15% of total profits. This is a payout-only rule and does not cause a breach. Resets after each payout.

Elite Daily (Evaluation)

A 45% consistency rule applies during the evaluation phase only. No single trading day may account for more than 45% of total profits at the time of passing. Does not permanently fail the account. The trader must simply continue trading to distribute profits more evenly. No consistency requirement applies on the funded phase.

Elite ACCESS

No consistency rule during the evaluation phase.

A 40% consistency rule applies on the funded phase. No single trading day may account for more than 40% of total profits at the time of a payout request.

Leverage

Note on micro contracts: 1 mini (standard e-mini) contract = 10 micro contracts. The micro column below shows the total number of micros that can be held, calculated at a 10:1 ratio. You may hold a combination of minis and micros as long as the combined position does not exceed the stated limit (e.g., on a $50,000 account allowing 3 minis, you could hold 2 minis and 20 micros).

Micro Bitcoin Futures (MBT) Special Limits

Due to higher volatility, Micro Bitcoin Futures have separate reduced contract limits across all account types:

  • $25,000 account: max 1 MBT contract
  • $50,000 account: max 3 MBT contracts (varies by account type)
  • $100,000 account: max 5 MBT contracts (varies by account type)
  • $150,000 account: max 7 MBT contracts (varies by account type)

Consequences of Exceeding Contract Limits

Exceeding the allowed contract limit is a rule violation. Consequences may include: trades being rejected or reduced, the account being flagged for review, profits generated while exceeding limits being removed, and payout requests being denied. Compliance with contract limits is mandatory for payout eligibility.

Trading Hours

Trading is permitted between 6:00 PM EST and 4:10 PM EST the following day, Monday through Friday. This applies to all account types and all instruments including crypto futures.

There is a daily 1-hour break from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST during which trading is paused. The next session opens at 6:00 PM EST.

Session structure:

  • The Monday session begins at 6:00 PM EST Sunday and ends at 4:10 PM EST Monday.
  • The final session of the week ends at 4:00 PM EST on Friday.
  • Markets reopen Sunday at 6:00 PM EST.

Overnight and Weekend Positions

Overnight positions are not permitted. All open trades are automatically closed at 4:10 PM EST every trading day. If a trader does not close positions before 4:10 PM EST, the system will force-liquidate all open positions at that time.

Weekend trading is prohibited. All markets remain closed Saturday and Sunday.

News Trading

News trading is permitted on most account types (Elite Challenge, Elite Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, Ignite). Traders are expected to manage their own risk around high-impact events.

Elite Daily funded accounts and Elite ACCESS funded accounts have a 4-minute restricted window around major high-impact news events: no trades may be opened, closed, or modified within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after the event. This news restriction applies to funded phases only, not evaluation phases.

Restricted news events include FOMC announcements, Federal Reserve rate decisions, Non-Farm Payrolls, CPI releases, and major central bank statements.

Market Holidays

No specific holiday schedule is documented in the source file.

Multiple Accounts

Elite Sim Funded and Instant Sim Funded (combined limit)

Maximum 3 accounts if any account is $100,000 or $150,000 size. Maximum 5 accounts if all accounts are $25,000 or $50,000 size.

S2F Sim PRO

Maximum 5 active accounts. Up to 10 during specific promotional periods at the time of purchase.

Ignite

Maximum 10 active accounts.

Elite Daily

Maximum 5 active funded accounts at any time. Maximum 10 evaluation accounts may be purchased within any rolling 30-day period. Each evaluation account may be reset a maximum of 12 times within a 30-day window.

Elite ACCESS

Maximum 5 active accounts (both evaluation and funded combined).

Challenge Accounts (Elite Challenge)

No limit on simultaneous Elite Challenge evaluation accounts.

Household Limits

Separate household limits apply across all traders sharing the same residence:

  • Elite and Instant Sim Funded: max 3 (100K/150K sizes) or max 5 (25K/50K sizes) combined across all household members
  • S2F PRO: max 5 active accounts per household
  • Ignite: max 6 active accounts per household
  • Elite Daily: max 5 active accounts per household

If any trader within a household holds an active live funded account, no additional sim funded accounts are allowed for anyone else in that household.

Credentials and Email

No specific requirement for separate email addresses per account is documented. All Tradovate-based accounts are linked under the same Tradovate user login credentials.

Copy Trading Across Accounts

Copy trading is permitted within the same account program and same account size only:

  • S2F Sim PRO accounts may copy trades to other S2F Sim PRO accounts of the exact same size (e.g., $25K to $25K only), up to the 5-account limit.
  • Elite Sim Funded may copy to other Elite Sim Funded accounts of the same size, up to 3 accounts.
  • Instant Sim Funded may copy to other Instant Sim Funded accounts of the same size, up to 3 accounts.
  • Ignite accounts may copy to other Ignite accounts of the same size, up to 6 accounts.

Copy trading between different account programs is strictly prohibited (e.g., S2F Sim PRO to Instant Sim Funded, or Elite to Ignite). Copy trading between different account sizes within the same program is also prohibited.

Copy trading between a trader’s own accounts across different prop firms is permitted as long as all trade decisions originate from activity on the Top One Futures account. Following signal services, Telegram groups, Discord calls, or shared alert systems from any third party remains prohibited regardless.

Consequences of Unauthorized Copy Trading

Violation results in immediate closure of all associated accounts.

Prohibited Conduct

Hedging across accounts

Hedging one account against another is prohibited whether within Top One Futures or across other prop firms or brokers. All trades must reflect independent trading strategies.

Spoofing and disruptive order practices

Front-running and any attempt to benefit from anticipated price movement based on trades executed elsewhere is prohibited. Trading strategies that risk broker relationships, such as abnormal flow, slippage targeting, or mass quote stuffing, are prohibited. Trading that may create regulatory concerns for Top One Futures or its liquidity partners is not tolerated.

Platform and simulator exploitation

Exploiting system errors, pricing errors, latency, or mispricings in the broker’s feed, charting platform, or any associated systems results in immediate account breach. Latency arbitrage and price manipulation are included. Intentional account breaching (sim farming) to avoid transitioning to live trading or to game system protections is prohibited.

Automated and algorithmic trading

Expert Advisors (EAs), bots, scripts, and any automated or high-frequency execution tools are strictly prohibited. All trades must be entered manually or semi-manually by the registered trader.

High-frequency trading

All trades must remain open longer than 10 seconds. A trade closing at exactly 10.00 seconds is a violation. 10.01 seconds is acceptable. Closing any portion of a trade before 10 seconds is a violation (adding to a position within 10 seconds is permitted). Occasional minor violations are tolerable, but if close to 50% or more of total or withdrawable profits, or close to 50% or more of individual trades, violate this rule, all profits associated with those trades will be removed.

Trading on behalf of others

Only the registered account owner may trade. Allowing friends, family, or third parties to access or trade on your account is prohibited. Using any account management service or “pass your challenge” service is also prohibited.

VPN and IP policy

VPN use is not permitted. It can lead to location violations and account suspension. VPS (Virtual Private Server) use with a static IP address is allowed provided the trader notifies support in advance and registers the VPS IP address with the team. Trading from multiple accounts originating from the same IP address is not permitted.

Rolling, churning, and gambling accounts

Creating multiple evaluation accounts in batches and intentionally breaching most while focusing on passing just one is prohibited. Consistently breaching accounts within 24-48 hours of purchase and immediately repurchasing is considered toxic trading behavior and may result in permanent disqualification.

Arbitrage with other firms

Attempting to arbitrage trades across Top One Futures and another firm or platform is prohibited.

Use of insider or non-public information

Trading based on information not available to the general public is prohibited.

Externally marketed challenge-passing strategies

Using any publicly available or purchased system advertised to help traders “pass challenges” is not allowed.

Consequences

Violations result in account breach and forfeiture of all associated profits. During the Elite Challenge phase, violations may result in a retake challenge being issued or a full account breach depending on severity. Serious violations including fraud, IP abuse, and unauthorized account access may result in permanent blacklisting and potential legal action.

Elite Challenge: no minimum. Can be passed in a single trading day.

Instant Sim Funded: no evaluation phase (instant access).

S2F Sim PRO: no evaluation phase. Minimum 10 trading days required to qualify for first payout, with at least 7 of those being profitable days.

Elite ACCESS: minimum 1 profitable trading day required to pass the evaluation. Must be completed within a 30-day window.

Age requirements and corporate entities

No specific age requirement or corporate entity restriction is documented in the source files.

Reset fee structure

Resets are available within 14 days of a breach. Discount codes do not apply to reset fees. Resets restore the account to its original starting balance and clear all P&L history.

Accounts not eligible for reset

Ignite accounts, S2F Sim PRO accounts, and Instant Sim Funded accounts cannot be reset. A breach on these account types is permanent.

Refund policy

Top One Futures maintains a strict no-refund policy on all account purchases, regardless of trading activity including accounts that have never been traded.

Geographic restrictions

A significant list of countries is restricted from accessing Top One Futures services. Traders physically located in a restricted country may not place trades. Doing so results in a hard breach. Traders who are traveling and need to notify the firm should email support@toponefutures.com with travel documentation in advance.

KYC and contract requirements

All traders must complete KYC verification before trading any sim funded account. Required documents include a valid photo ID, proof of address from the last 60 days, and a selfie. After KYC approval, traders must sign a trader agreement before trading begins.

Subscription model

Elite Challenge accounts operate on a monthly subscription that renews on the same calendar date each month. Subscriptions do not cancel automatically if you fail. Elite Daily accounts have no recurring fee once passed (subscription ends automatically upon passing). If a payment fails, the subscription is canceled and the account is closed.

Additional Rules

Minimum trade duration (10-second rule)

All trades must remain open longer than 10 seconds. This applies across all account types. Profits from trades in violation of this rule may be removed if violations account for close to 50% or more of profits or trades.

Path to live trading

After 3 successful payouts from one account (standard), or 2 payouts on S2F Sim PRO, or 5 payouts on Elite Daily, a risk manager will review the trader’s performance. The trader may be kept in the sim funded environment for further review or transitioned to a live account at Top One Futures’ discretion. Live transitions may happen sooner at the firm’s discretion.

Sim profits up to a maximum of 10% of the starting sim balance are carried over as the starting balance for the live account (from a single highest-performing account only).

Live account rules

The profit split changes from 90/10 to 80/20 on live accounts. The firm re-invests its 20% share into scaling the trader’s capital. Daily payouts are available every 24 hours after the previous payout is approved with a minimum of $200. The consistency rule is removed on live accounts. There is no maximum withdrawal limit. A static max loss limit of 60% of account size applies.

Live accounts involve a Pre-Live stage before real capital is fully deployed. Real capital is allocated once the trader demonstrates the ability to generate between $7,000 and $10,000 in profit under live conditions.

Payment method policy

All payments must use payment methods owned and controlled by the account holder. Third-party cards or payment methods are prohibited. Top One Futures may request proof of payment method ownership before processing payouts.

Scaling on live accounts

Bonus capital is added to the starting balance upon reaching the following cumulative withdrawal milestones:

  • $10,000 withdrawn: $2,000 bonus
  • $25,000 withdrawn: $3,000 bonus
  • $50,000 withdrawn: $5,000 bonus
  • $75,000 withdrawn: $5,000 bonus
  • $100,000 withdrawn: $5,000 bonus
  • $150,000 withdrawn: $10,000 bonus
  • $200,000 withdrawn: $10,000 bonus
  • $250,000 withdrawn: $20,000 bonus
  • $500,000 withdrawn: $40,000 bonus

Scaling is conducted at the discretion of the Risk Management Team and must be requested by the trader. The account must be in good standing and pass a risk assessment before approval.

Activation Fee

An activation fee is charged when a trader transitions from the evaluation phase to a sim funded account. This applies to Elite accounts and Elite ACCESS accounts. Elite Daily accounts have no activation fee.

Elite Challenge to Elite Sim Funded

A one-time activation fee of $149 applies to all Elite account sizes ($25K, $50K, $100K, $150K). The fee is paid before the sim funded account login credentials are issued. KYC verification and contract signing are also required before trading begins.

Elite ACCESS

The activation fee for Elite ACCESS varies by account size:

  • $25,000: $139
  • $50,000: varies (source states “from $139 to $359 depending on size”)
  • Up to $150,000: $359

Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim PRO, and Ignite

No activation fee. Traders receive instant access without an evaluation or activation step.

Elite Daily

Payout Policy

Profit split

All sim funded accounts operate on a 90/10 profit split. The trader keeps 90% of the payout amount. The firm retains 10%.

On live accounts, the split changes to 80/20. The firm’s 20% is re-invested into scaling the trader’s capital.

Withdrawal processing

Payouts are processed through Rise (Riseworks.io). Payment methods supported are cryptocurrency and bank transfer. Traders unable to use Rise can contact support to arrange an alternative such as crypto.

Payout frequency and submission

Most account types process payouts on demand (no set schedule). The Elite Daily funded account allows payout requests every 24 hours. No specific submission deadline is documented for other account types.

Minimum payout amounts

  • Elite Sim Funded: not explicitly stated as a floor, but payout caps and profit targets imply a minimum related to the 6% first payout target
  • Instant Sim Funded: not explicitly stated
  • S2F Sim PRO: not explicitly stated
  • Ignite: $250 minimum
  • Elite Daily: $500 minimum
  • Elite ACCESS: $500 minimum

  • $100,000 account: $2,000 per withdrawal
  • $150,000 account: $2,500 per withdrawal

Once a trader transitions to a live account, payout caps are removed entirely.

Profit targets required before payout

Elite Sim Funded:

  • First payout: 6% of starting balance
  • Second payout: 5% of balance after first payout
  • Third payout and beyond: 4% of balance after previous payout

Instant Sim Funded:

  • Same structure as Elite Sim Funded (6%, 5%, 4%)

S2F Sim PRO:

  • First payout: 6% of starting balance
  • Second payout: 5% of post-payout balance
  • Third payout: 4% of post-payout balance

Ignite:

  • Each payout requires a 5% profit target relative to the current balance after the previous payout

Elite Daily: no ongoing profit target. Instead a payout buffer must be maintained and exceeded by at least $500.

Elite ACCESS: no ongoing profit target. A payout buffer must be maintained and exceeded by at least $500.

Payout buffers (Elite Daily and Elite ACCESS)

Elite Daily funded accounts require the following buffers to remain in the account at all times, with payout available from profits above the buffer:

  • $25,000 account: $1,500 buffer
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 buffer
  • $100,000 account: $3,000 buffer

Elite ACCESS funded accounts:

  • $25,000 account: $1,500 buffer (first payout requires $2,000 total profit)
  • $50,000 account: $2,000 buffer (first payout requires $2,500 total profit)
  • $100,000 account: $3,000 buffer (first payout requires $3,500 total profit)
  • $150,000 account: $4,500 buffer (first payout requires $5,000 total profit)

Daily Progression Rule (Elite Daily and Elite ACCESS)

After the first payout, at least 50% of any subsequent payout request amount must come from profits generated since the last payout. This requirement resets after every approved payout.

Drawdown lock upon payout

Upon a trader’s first payout, the trailing drawdown locks in at the starting balance plus $100 and no longer trails with account growth, regardless of how much the account continues to grow. This applies to Elite and Instant Sim Funded accounts. For S2F Sim PRO accounts, the TIDD also locks at the starting balance plus $100 upon first payout approval.

Geographic restrictions on payouts

No specific country restrictions on receiving payouts are documented. However, traders residing in restricted countries cannot access or trade the platform, which would prevent payout eligibility entirely.

Withdrawal fees

No specific withdrawal fees by payment method are documented in the source file.
