Our Take on FundedNext
The growth of FundedNext is impressive. Especially since mid-2023, the search volume for FundedNext grew exponentially to now over 900,000 searches per month across the globe. Their management does a decent job in expanding the product offering and making the right business decisions. In 2025, FundedNext expanded their prop firm challenge offering to futures trading challenges and they do so with great success.
All futures accounts have $0 activation fee, and the challenge fees are one-time fees (not monthly recurring). There is only one thing that’s not ideal for traders: the consistency rule logic. During the Rapid Challenge, there is no consistency rule, which makes it easier to pass the challenge, but then in the funded account there is a 40% consistency rule. To solve this, there is a Bolt Challenge, which has a consistency rule in the challenge account only, but not in the funded account. So overall, traders can choose the account type with rules they like the most. And good news: all futures accounts have an EOD drawdown and not intraday.

The Legacy challenges are a bit cheaper than the new Rapid challenges. That’s because the Legacy challenges have a 40% consistency rule during evaluation, while the Rapid challenge does not.
