The platform successfully finds a good balance between outstanding charting capabilities with ultra-fast real-time prices, combined with a stock scanner and options screener, as well as extensive educational events and material.

The set of filters for the options screener is unique. You can define what to scan for, you have a premium filter, contract size filter, ITM, OTM, and ATM settings, and select only weeps, only weekly expiring contracts, or even sectors. The options screener also posts trade alerts.
Stock Screener
The BlackBoxStocks stock screener is a good one for active traders who want to scan for opening gap setups or high stock momentum. There are not that many settings to adjust the scanner results, but something unique is the feature to scan with the alert stream for dark pool prints on private exchanges. The dark pool scanner works in real-time and the numbers can even be applied to the chart as a chart study, where you can plot secondary support and resistance levels.
The momentum trade alerts are also tracked, so that you can check the alerts to see if those types of alerts help you find a profitable edge. The top 6 stocks of a day are always posted live on the website and include the ticker symbol, price at the alert, the highest high after the alert, and potential gain. Today, 6 stocks popped up with potential gains of 53.7 – 577.54%.
Trade Alert System
The trade alert system can be used to alert when defined market movements happen. This can be volatility figures, price levels, and more. In addition, there is a volatility indicator that measures the Level 2 Data with the volume traded on the bid and ask price within a 10-second time window to indicate bullish or bearish tendencies of the market.

My Conclusion
I’m still amazed by the value BlackBoxStocks brings in. Stock traders and options traders can both be happy having this tool on their side. Beginners enjoy the comprehensive education sections and community aspects, along with the excellent guides.
The price is more than fair. For under $100, you get access to an options scanner, stock screener, chart analysis, trading education, and chat rooms. BlackBoxStocks is a real bargain and worth the costs, especially if you consider that there are absolutely no add-ons you have to pay for. It’s all an one-in-all pricing for access to all features and functionalities BlackBoxStocks has.
